But Not Today
Letzte Woche haben der verschlafene Malte und ich ein paar Bands endlich live gesehen. Trainwreck waren dabei und wie immer sehr gut, Aussitot Mort waren noch besser als erwartet, Comadre ebenfalls und Who Calls So Loud waren der absolute Hammer. Ehrlich. Nachdem ich intuitiv ihre Platte geordert habe, lief das Teil hoch und runter und diese Songs live zu hören war einfach genial.

Writings, just words that do nothing anymore. Vague and mistaken by all. I am left in this room with only thought. I lay on the flooor and stare onto the ceiling. Into infinity. I dream of years from now. Years which were never promised to me. I don’t see anyone I know through the storm and chaos. The eye is always so calm. A year before I would have fallen apart. But not today. Not anymore.
Der Text des Tracks “What I Learned In The C.O.U.M.” hängt mir seit Tagen im Kopf herum und deswegen steht er jetzt hier zusammen mit der absoluten Empfehlung sich die Band auf ihrer nahezu Welttour anzusehen und die Platte zu kaufen!
Bei uns spielen die ja erst in 2 Wochen, aber ich freue mich auch schon wie irr. Besonders gespannt bin ich, wie du sicherlich auch warst auf “Who calls so loud”. Die Platte(n) hat’s mir ganz schön angetan. Bei dir ja scheinbar auch.
Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass das die beste Emo/Screamo Kapelle seit langem ist, die mich so umgehauen hat :)
